Because Connection
Hi there, I’m Thomas Wong.
Have you ever felt the quiet ache, the realisation that the bonds to people you love are fraying? Or the sting of sadness, loneliness, when life gets hectic and stressful, and friendship—once effortless—now requires more planning.
If you’re in your 30s or beyond, you probably know what I mean. Work gets busier, days get shorter, and the connections we love start to drift.
Nurturing bonds
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been the one championing togetherness. From orchestrating big events (workshops, dinners, festivals) as an event planner, to helping non-English-speaking students find their confidence; from training teams, to being the planner in my friend group, I’m driven by a deep belief: human connection matters.
I’ve worked with people from all nationalities, ages and languages, making sure no one ever felt left out.
Together Kit began life in 2013, as a humble but mighty place to help busy folks find fun ways to get together. But then everything changed in 2020, when the world stopped for Covid-19, and lockdowns pulled all of us apart worldwide.
For so many of us, the pandemic was a reminder of how much we need each other. This realisation was a turning point, and I began to pivot my business to meet it head on.
Keeping you together
Fast forward to today, where Together Kit is the home for all things connectedness (through fun, of course!) Whether you’re navigating busy schedules, social anxiety, occasional loneliness, or starting new friendships, we’re here to help.
You’ll find ideas and inspiration in our newsletter and online store, alongside a community we’re building here as well, to bring you close to other folks who value connection.
Let’s Stay In Touch
To kick things off, come and subscribe to Together Trove, our free monthly newsletter. It’s a little gift straight to your inbox, featuring unique socialising ideas (in audio form) plus fun timeouts from the daily grind (called Refreshment). You’ll receive 2 free gifts, called Reinvent Your Weekend and Release Relief, when you do. You won’t be spammed, I promise you that.
