So now you’ve listened to our episode of Together Trove, I’m curious to know your thoughts on the various topics to hand.
What was a dish or meal you enjoyed eating when you were a kid?
What’s one memorable experience of a weekend getaway with your mates?
Did you agree or disagree with the old man’s statement?
Drop me a line and let me know.
And finally, something for our lack of time.
When life gets hectic, with work, family, and relationships eating up most of our time, it's easy for friendship to take a backseat. We can struggle to carve out time to see friends, but in Moment Maker, we take the opposite view, that you don't need to carve out any time at all.
All you need is to weave connection into the time you do have, however small. Today’s instalment is called Mail A Joke.
Find a joke off the web and send it to your friend, either in the post (written in Sharpie pens) or as a voicemail (in a silly voice). The joke style varies depending on your friend’s sense of humour; I’d go for jokes where you laugh and groan after hearing it.
Here’s one you could send: “Why are ghosts good cheerleaders? Because they have a lot of spirit!” And that’s it. Make your friend laugh will ensure a response back, and so your connection remains strong.
